“Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” Part 1

This exhibit, was truly a beautiful one to see in person. The selections were all so different, and unique, which was such a treat! This is Part 1 as I want to really give you an in depth tour of this in case you cannot make it in person. I would highly suggest you try, as you will not be disappointed in the least.

A total of 170 ensembles & dresses, it examines how haute couture, long associated with impeccably handmade garments tailored to individual clients, is increasingly integrating breakthroughs in technologies and materials. Technology (machina) is not replacing the hand (manus); rather, the two are collaborating as never before, stimulating innovation and expression
