Petrie Court Café Review

As many of you know, the Met Museum is probably my favorite in New York City. It is just such a gem of a place, and they have some nice dining as well. I have been to the Petrie Court Café a few times, but never showed the place here on the blog. Today is your day!
The surroundings are just too good to be true!

This looks very New York, doesn't it? It is a great space, not an inexpensive one, but a nice treat once in  a while. It is helpful to not have to leave the museum to grab a bite to eat.

I choose the 2 courses for $29.00, which really isn't bad for New York City! The salmon salad above was very good, along with some warm rolls!

For my sweet choice, I decided on the Chocolate Blackout Cake with Salted Chocolate Cream Filling
It was pretty darn amazing!

They offer High Tea here for $26 per person, which I am eager to try very soon. You can opt for a 3 course lunch for $36 which adds a soup or market salad to my choices above.

I was able to enjoy this gorgeous view of Central Park as I left, and that my friends, is priceless!
