Sugar and Spiced Christmas Coffee with Community Coffee

As you all know, I am a HUGE coffee lover, and I love trying new brands which have unique flavors. When I drink flavored coffee, I feel like it's a dessert with no calories! Community Coffee contacted me about trying their coffee, and I was thrilled to do so! They were happy to give us this amazing Sugar and Spice Christmas Coffee drink recipe for the holidays!

The Sugar & Spiced Christmas Coffee
Servings: 8
Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
3/4 cup chilled whipping cream
4 1/2 tsp. powdered sugar
1 cup freshly ground Community® coffee
5 tsp. ground cardamom
3 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
7 cup water

Directions:
Using an electric mixer, beat whipping cream in a large bowl until soft peaks form. Then, add powdered sugar and continue beating. Place ground coffee, cardamom, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a coffee filter. Using spoon, mix gently. Add water to your coffee maker and brew to your liking. Next, divide coffee among 8 cups. Garnish each with a dollop of whipped cream and serve piping hot.

Community Coffee started in the early 1900's on the north edge of Baton Rouge by Cap Saurage. The current owner, Matt Saurage, is the fourth generation family member to run the company. I think that is pretty cool, and you can imagine the quality if it has been in business for over one hundred years.
Community Coffee has k-cup versions of their flavors, and I tried the Pumpkin Praline as well as the Southern Bread Pudding! Happy day! They are so tasty, a wonderful treat of a coffee drink! They also make a Coffee and Chicory flavor which I thought was interesting. You can check out their flavor selections HERE

Another thing I really like about Community Coffee is they have a Military Match program. When you purchase coffee through this program, Community Coffee donates the same amount of coffee you purchase to a military base address you provide. I think this sounds so great, especially if you have loved ones in the military, what a treat for them to receive!

I am really glad I was introduced to this brand and I plan to try some more of their coffee flavors! Be sure to check out their website HERE and shop around to see what flavors or non-flavors you wish to try.

And you know what goes with a GREAT cup of coffee? Cannoli, of course! This one I had recently from Tasty Pastry Shop in Brooklyn was SUBLIME. My smile was from ear to ear!!

Disclosure: I was provided some coffee from Community Coffee for this review. There has been no monetary compensation for this post. I only recommend products that I feel will be of interest to my readers, and that I am truly impressed by. All opinions are my own. Thank you!!
