Financier Patisserie's Valentine's Day 2014 Desserts


I know I have many new readers of this blog, and to those I say Thank you and Welcome! Financier Patisserie is one of my most FAVORITE places to visit when in the city. Breakfast, lunch or a light dinner is oh so enjoyable here. The pastry is sublime too! You can check out some of my prior posts on this wonderful place HERE and HERE. They have some great Valentine's Day edible works of art that I was sure you would enjoy seeing!  


We will have 4 heart shaped cakes  available in a small size that serves 2 and a large size that serves 4-6. Each small cake is $15.00 and each large cake is $35.00
Passion au Chocolat – an almond moist macaron with chocolate mousse, passion almond mousse and topped with a chocolate glaze
Tiramisu Coeur de Café -  a coffee flavored ladyfinger biscuit, mascarpone mousse with a light coffee mascarpone mousse center
Coeur de Berries – a lady finger biscuit with a berry cheesecake, red berry mousse and topped with a raspberry glaze
Fraisier (large size only) - a French-style strawberry shortcake made with fresh strawberries, vanilla biscuit, mousseline with a touch of Grand Marnier
Financier is also making 3 heart shaped pastries:
Passion au Chocolat
Coeur de Berries
Berry Tart

Valentine Chocolate Heart Box  
Heart Linzer Cookies !!! 

In addition to the beautiful cakes and pastries Financier has 6 special treats:
Les Coeurs de Madeleine – 6 chocolate dipped heart shaped madeleines - $12.50
Chocolate covered strawberries – a box of 5 - $20.00
Heart shaped chocolate box – filled with truffles - $14.25
Heart shaped chocolate bonbons – filled with passion fruit, praline crunch and framboise – a 5 piece box - $10.50 and a 10 piece box - $18.50
Valentine's Day macarons – a raspberry macaron and a chocolate macaron sandwiched with a chocolate raspberry ganache – box of 7 - $10.50 and a box of 12 - $20.00
Heart shaped Linzer cookies and heart shaped butter cookies - $3.25 each
