I have been covering the show for a few years, last year I was unable to attend due to my Mom being sick, but this year I am going to hopefully view the show live in person! One of my favorites was from the Guess Who's Coming to Dinner which you can click here to see. It was a really fun exhibit! Here is some information on the designers for the 2014 show:
NYC designers:
Effeti USA - The North American subsidiary of Effeti, an Italian kitchen cabinetry company, Effeti USA is known for their sleek, modern designs. The ultimate in luxury, Effeti USA's collections are customizable and come in a range of materials such as solid wood, hand-sprayed and polished lacquers, wood veneers, glass and high-quality laminates. All components are made in the factory in Florence, Italy to ensure control over the entire construction and finishing process.
Fort Standard - Using traditional methods and natural materials in innovative ways, this contemporary industrial design studio has created a line of long lasting, highly functional products and furniture. Their work has also been featured inDesign Brooklyn, a recently released book that takes readers on a visual journey of the borough's public and private spaces.

Aaron Scott - Aaron Scott’s work fuses art with engineering. His handcrafted pieces are inspired by nature and he uses sculpted forms to explore rotational symmetry in three-dimensional space. Despite their unconventional structure and delicate lines, the finished objects are extremely stable and solid.

Other areas:
Zachary A Design -  Designed to resemble sculptured concrete, Zachary A Design's contemporary furniture collection is suitable for year round indoor and outdoor use. Casted by hand, the pieces are treated to have a modern weathered look. Although the furniture resembles concrete, the pieces are only a fraction of the weight, making them an excellent option for outdoor events as they are easily re-arranged.

Cherry Wood Bench

David Stine Woodworking - Based in Illinois, Stine hand-crafts each piece from sustainably harvested wood. Using traditional methods of joinery and construction, Stine creates unique pieces of furniture that maximize the wood’s raw, natural beauty.
