A Trip to Il Violino

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday after my wonderful trip to the Green Flea and some shopping. I was trying to find a nice quiet place to sit and have a light lunch. After walking for a bit, I found Il Violino. The outside was really cute and I was looking for someplace cool on this hot day.
I liked the windows all around that you could still people watch
Pollo e Pomodoro - grilled breast of chicken with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, onion and basil - it was Delizioso as they would say in italian !!!

across the street was one of those wonderful flower vendors...next time I stay in the city I am bringing a vase and have fresh flowers in my room! That sounds like a great idea, don't you think? They are always so gorgeous and they last a good week.
After that wonderful lunch, a trip to Lincoln Center may now be in order!!
