It took me a while to write this top 10 post. I think because the cupcake craze is getting bigger, not smaller. There are so many great bakeries, more sprouting up on a daily basis. I really think it is impossible to list the "perfect 10" and I will say, this probably will change as time goes on BUT here are my favorites,

What is "your" favorite cupcake in New York City? Is there one you tried and didn't care for? I hate when that happens, when you are all excited, and then disappointed. I always say for everyone to try what they think they would like themselves, and make their own decision.

Now I MUST try them all!! I have only tried Crumbs (love!) and Magnolia (divine!)...you will have to try Georgetown Cupcakes now in Soho.

I have tried Babycakes and also loved the ones at Bouchon. I would like to try Magnolia Bakery next time I'm in NYC.

I wish I lived in NYC, these places look amazing. Before I found out I had a gluten allergy, cupcakes were my jam..lol. Have you tried Cupcake Stop? A few years ago when I first started my website, they sent me a box of cupcakes to try and they were insanely YUM!
