Fabulous Giveaway with Ecojot

I love when I find companies such as Ecojot!! It seems to me Hallmark has major competition when it comes to other options in 2013 for card purchasing. I am always looking out for something unique, and when I found Ecojot, I was really thrilled. They make gorgeous cards, notebooks, work books, planners, gift wrap, wedding journals and thank you cards, baby cards and books, even fabric cases for your ipad and e-readers. Here is some background about the company from their website:

Founded by Mark Gavin in 2007, ecojot® creates eco-friendly stationerypaper goods and custom design products that feature whimsical and inspirational designs. Designer Carolyn Gavin garners her inspiration from different artistic genres found in her travels and varying facets of life. Ecojot specializes in a variety of journals,  sketchbookschildren's sketchbooksgift wrapcalendars and note cards. The paper content used is 100% post-consumer recycled and all products are designed and printed in Canada.
We are more than an eco-friendly stationery company; we are committed to giving back one journal at a time. The "GIVE" program started in 2010 and uses a simple premise: With the purchase of a jumbo journal, Ecojot will give a workbook to a child in need. Today, under the “GIVE” program, over 200,000 notebooks have been placed into the hands of children in need.Learn more about our GIVEprogram.
Ecojot also has a long and successful track record of working with organizations on creating unique custom designs. We have worked with Canopy, California Baby, and The Jane Goodall Institute on creating limited edition designs.
In 2011, we received a bronze award in the Visual Communication - Brand and Identity design category from the Design Exchange, an internationally-recognized organization dedicated to promoting Canadian design.
We are a proudly Canadian company based out of Scarborough, Ontario. Ecojot is available in over a thousand retail locations across Canada, United States, Switzerland, Norway, Finland and beyond!

GIVE Program
Our purpose here at ecojot® revolves around the power of GIVE-ing a sustainable future to our Planet through the use of recycled material; People by providing sweat-shop free production in our hometown; and most importantly Philanthropy; giving children in need a chance at literacy and education.
Created in 2010, the ecojot GIVE Program provides a workbook and pen to children in need around the world every time a Jumbo Journal is purchased.
Why give workbooks?
When our founder Mark Gavin visited schools in Kenya he met a boy named James who had recently lost his father to a political tribal war involving machetes. Now James lives with his mother in a refugee camp where they struggle daily to survive. During Mark's time at the school he noticed James would use up his workbook and then erase the content. Mark saw him do this and asked him why, James replied saying that if he used up his workbook, then he wouldn’t know when he would receive another. This is just one story of the many Mark experienced on his visits to schools in developing countries. These children are eager to learn and yet they are lacking school supplies that we here in our hometown have an abundance of.
Our main purpose is to give children in need sustainable tools for them to develop their literacy skills in hope that at least one and hopefully many will grow to become positive influencers and give back to their community and our world.
Many children in developing countries cannot attend school because they lack basic school supplies. The opportunity to be educated can give a child a sustainable and more prosperous life for their families, community and country.  We are committed to supporting children's arts, literacy and education. Together we will GIVE more.
