Vetro Vero at the 2012 Architectural Digest Home Design Show

This booth at the 2012 Architectural Digest Home Design Show just blew me away. I just love color, and these works of art were just amazing. The colors were so vibrant, I wanted one of each! Vetro Vero is a hand crafted design and decor company which began in 2011 by Michael Schunke and Josie Gluck. These folks are just highly talented and if you are looking for a gift for that person who has everything, they probably do not have a piece from Vetro Vero! Enjoy the photos below and be as in awe as I was while taking them!!

So which one is your favorite? I find it hard to decide, I think I will just take one of each!!

Today's Words of Wisdom: [on the importance of color] The Drab Age is over. Color is coming into its own again. Until very recently people were literally scared out of their wits by color. Perhaps this was a hangover from our Puritan ancestors. But whatever the reason, brown, grays and neutrals were the only shades considered 'safe.' Now we know that lovely, clear colors have a vital effect on our mental happiness. Modern doctors and psychiatrists are convinced of this! - Dorothy Draper

Sorry, Dorothy Draper but its a long way from the Puritans to today .. this color explosion is not new .. pick up any back issue of AD and you'll find lots of color

It was just a color quote I thought fun to include. Not sure what year it is from but I will check and make a note of that.
