My Favorites at the Christie's Elizabeth Taylor Exhibition on Dec 2, 2011

Here are some of the favorites that caught my eye at the viewing of the Elizabeth Taylor Collection. Apart from the famous jewels, these also stood out to me in person. The very first item was the tiara below. It looked heavy in person, but sparkled like crazy!! I found it interesting that if she liked a style of jewelry, she purchased it in different stones. The pink sapphire necklace below was just so beautiful, it almost didn't look real in person. I felt very special to see these classic items in person, owed by one of the greatest actresses and last of the old-time movie star glamour in our lifetime. It was a fabulous Christmas treat !!

It would be hard to pick a favorite out of these because they are all so beautiful. Thanks for sharing them.

I am hoping they do a live online stream of the auction on Tuesday as it will be very interesting. I think the items will go for much higher than estimated just because of their owner.
