Breakfast at Tiffany's Townhouse for Sale !!

From one of the great websites I read daily, Curbed, here is some of the info on this cool home:

Its look has changed a bit in the past 50 years, but the house where Holly Golightly lived in Breakfast at Tiffany's is 169 East 71st Street. The four-story townhouse currently belongs to Peter Bacanovic, a management consultant and former Merrill Lynch broker who was sentenced to some jail time in Martha Stewart's insider trading case, who purchased it for $1.88 million in 2008. But he's ready to sell: the Times reports the property has just come on the market for $5.85 million. It will require some work for the aspiring single-family townhouse owner, since it's currently divided into two duplexes. There's also some debate over the extent to which the house featured in the film: the exterior was definitely used in the movie, but it's not clear whether the interiors were ever used, or whether those scenes were shot just on a Hollywood set. Either way, there are some decent bragging rights up for grabs here.

So, if money were no object, and the yearly taxes of $28,466 US dollars were no problem....would you purchase it?

I think I could handle living on the Upper East Side. It would be quite magical to live here in particular.
