Hello Kitty at Lever House

This is one of those posts which came about by just walking. NYC is very much a walking city and when you visit, I advise to try to walk as much as possible. You find things you don't expect like I did on this day of strolling Park Avenue. I arrived at the Lever House, at 390 Park Avenue. The Lever House was built in 1951-1952 to be the American headquarters of the British soap company Lever Brothers. Since it's renovation, the buildings plaza and lobby have become a gallery for the Lever House Art Collection. Look who I found on my day of walking in the city:
yep it is the Hello Kitty sculptures by Tom Sachs who is a contemporary artist who lives in New York City

Hello Kitty is really popular by all ages and I was thrilled to come across these

it is also a great place to just sit and enjoy them and relax the feet from walking all day

this post is also for Taylor who is a HUGE Hello Kitty fan and after a tour of the city with me, a New York City fan as well

we even found some adorable lunch boxes at a street fair in the village but behaved and did not take any home!!

the famous NYC Taxi and testing my camera's speed as they drove past....on Madison Avenue......
