Olives NY Restaurant at the W Hotel

Ever since we got to see Todd English at the Food Hall, well, I feel the need to check out his other restaurants in the city. I have been meaning to get to Olives for a long time and finally did for a lovely lunch. It was actually a Saturday and the weather was gorgeous so it wasn't very busy at all. Great for taking some photos!

loved the decor....really very clean and simple

the menu is Mediterranean

it also serves as the restaurant for the W hotel in Union Square

I really liked these booths on the side....just the whole place is really charming

my lunch was served in a very neat way....it was very tasty
Warm Chicken And Baby Beet Salad roasted beets, baby beet greens, walnuts sherry dressing, manchego cheese

Do you beliee the only Todd English restaurant I've eaten in is the one of the Queen Mary 2 cruise ship? Olives looks good!

I am finally getting back to normal after my long vacation. We had a wonderful time in California.

I'm looking forward to the photography weekend, Rosemary! Will you be sending me info in my e-mail?

Your lunch looks like an art piece! I went to a Todd English last week while I was on vacation. It was actually on a cruise ship. I wish you could see it; I'm sure you would have loved it!
