6th Avenue Street Fair

New York City streetfairs are quite common during the summer months. They can be a lot of fun and you can eat very cheaply for lunch, dinner or a snack. They actually start in April and go until November....I wasn't aware of the one I spotted on a beautiful July morning but felt the need to take you down 6th Avenue........
I love the city in the morning before it gets crazy...looks so peaceful
first stand I see Chocolate just what I need for breakfast!!
bananas and apples are breakfast food, aren't they??
these hats screamed Mad Men to me - big time .....
I was tempted here but not sure how much she would soak me for so kept walking
adorable little purses for going out in the evening....love the colors!
lots and lots of jewelry
babies love NYC too !!
cute dresses and skirts in all colors
I love Gyros ....Spinach Pie is pretty good as well..this is a great stand!
sweet roasted corn ...not really my thing but did look good
Crepes....for breakfast...why not?
my best friend Nutella was even there...( I actually own a jar that big of Nutella)            Can I have one of everything?
last but not least...these I was really thinking about but you had to buy 6 and I didn't think I could eat them all...could have given what was left to a homeless person...didn't think of that until later......

Hope you enjoyed the street fair...here is a link for a full listing for 2010 in case you are coming to the city and want to see if any will be going on during your stay.

How interesting a tour. Thank you very much for this escape in the middle of the night. Interesting as well the Greek taste.
