Bergdorf Goodman's Sex and the City 2 Windows May 2010

I am just back from another trip to the city yesterday with my charity bus trip. I run these twice a year and the money goes to a local women's domestic abuse shelter. Our day yesterday consisted of the village, some went on a walking tour and then back up to midtown for the end of the day. We had the most wonderful time, weather was unreal, bus driver was  so helpful and amazing...I couldn't have asked for more!! Expect when we got to Bergdorf's whose windows I had not seen since January. Shows me to wait so long!! They had our fave NYC girls in all their glory.....I was soo excited. Here is a peek.......

they were all designed by Patricia Field ....omg

drinking cosmo's and recipe for it on the darn window!!

Carrie's closet...omg....this was a-m-a-z-i-n-g

Pearls with her undies....such class...look at the shoe boxes in the corner!!

OMG, I LOVED looking at this, I am literally craning my neck trying to get a closer look!!!

How fabulous, don't they look amazing!!!?

What a great post Rosemary - and what a wonderful idea to organise the bus trips to NYC to raise money for charity, especially for a shelter....well done you.

Thank you for your comment on my blog today, I have to tell you that I am running in memory of my mother in law who passed away from breast cancer two years ago and for my aunt who passed away just last September after battling it for 7 years. She was just 53 and one week - and her name was Rosemary.

I know it is not an unusual name but you don't meet that many Rosemarys do you, it's a lovely name.

If you want to support me, which is wonderful, you can donate at

Thank you so much and have a wonderful Sunday.

Going back for another look at those fabulous windows now!!

Thanx Simone..you are correct Rosemary is not too common a name. My mom's is as well and my grandmothers were Rose and Mary so it was fitting for me. I do have paypal so I will sign up for your breast cancer walk. It is a great feeling to help others, no doubt. Thanx again for the kind words and glad u enjoyed the windows. I loove Carrie's nightstand....amazing!!

Thanks for posting these fab photos! I haven't had a chance to go uptown and take a look, although I have a reason to now! Did you see the Macy's windows?

Fiona: are the Macy's windows worth me going again this Saturday? I was so mad at some of those on my bus who saw them and did not call me on my cell as I would have got a cab to Macy's straight away!! I thought these were amazing!! Leave it to Pat Field....she's awesome!!

just saw the Macy's windows on a facebook account and these by far are much, much better. More details and done by Pat Field so Bergdorf's gets the gold star on the Sex and the City 2 Windows.
