this was such a cute restaurant and found out listed in Zagat Guide, great for pre-Carnegie Hall ...$55 average for dinner, ranking 19 out of 30 which is still considered good to very good ........lunch is always a good idea at some of these places and will be a bit cheaper than the dinner prices ...............
Trattoria Dell'arte looked soo cozy and well New York ! Rated in Zagat 20 and 22 scores out of 30 total - Northern Italian is the speciality ( my family is from Naples so sounds good to me) but also states in Zagat "decorated with "amusing" anatomical sculpture - " sit under the boob" - somewhat pricey but this is where the action is " Sounds like a place I must try !!!!!
I loove Mackenzie Childs....wonderful home stuff ...look at that chair !! And that dresser would be in my bedroom if it wasn't for ...well...the cost !!
Do you love the pink flower thingie hanging from the ceiling ? Chandelier is what I guess it would be called....

this little guy was to the left corner of the lady in the tub .....this is a really neat, neat store.....carries many different items...all price ranges....perfume, jewelry, hats, gloves, hair pins/headbands, make-up.....but I came across these which just blew me away ...................
these are Dog Toys and I can't stand it !! and I don't even have a dog for goodness sakes!! But how the heck cute are these??? Ruff Lauren, Doggie I Pod, Pizza, Bone du Soliel (suntan lotion) ......

Nordbarks and Muttster Card credit cards ....... if I had a friend that had a dog I would have bought one or two...they were not very expensive at all but the cutest ideas ....so fun ! I snapped these photos fast as was worried I may get yelled at...that happens from time to time .....
the Brooklyn Diner also made an appearance and I definately will stop in here one day for lunch as I loove 50's diners....just soo cool ........
the famous Russian Tea Room ....told you this was a good street to walk up !!
they had their menus in a window box with different Russian symbols ....love it !!!
I don't know if you could purchase these inside but I would...look at that face and those great colors!!!
So the next time you visit NYC, take a stroll up West 57th Street. Oh and I must say good luck to Andy Murray in the Australian Open Final in a few days time!! At least one of my faves is in the final!!!
