Bergdorf Goodman Windows April 2017

Some very cool windows from Bergdorf Goodman from back in April that I had to share. If you have never watched Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's, you should. It really shows all the work they put into their windows, which are in my opinion, the best in the city 12 months a year.

Love that bag!

I normally do not photograph the horses near Central Park but I did this time. They are cute but a bit smelly for me! I recently read about the one that got loose running through the city. So glad no one got hurt, I did a carriage ride when I was little. I am not sure whether I think they should do away with them. It is lovely riding through the park, but I don't think it's the best care for the horse.
Such a cutie!

Linda's at Bergdorf Goodman

The famous store, Bergdorf Goodman, always has the best windows. When I was in the city for the fashion exhibit at The Met, they had the most wonderful windows to celebrate the opening of Linda's at Bergdorf Goodman. Linda Fargo who is the public face behind the famous store, was opening a 600 square foot shop-within-a shop on the fourth floor. The shop offers a mix of vintage and current season ready-to-wear and accessories, artisan chocolate and $110 candles.
From the Bergdorf Goodman Website:

Introducing Linda’s at Bergdorf Goodman, a unique shop personally curated by Linda Fargo, Senior Vice President, Women’s Fashion Director and Store Presentation. The shop will provide a uniquely personal environment with irresistible product edits that stimulate the sense of discovery and indulgence at the heart of the best shopping experiences. Linda’s will feature an ever-changing range of eclectic products, all reflective of Linda’s tastes, latest obsessions and fascinations including a selection of ready-to-wear, unique vintage pieces, exclusive collaborations, accessories, international travel finds, beauty products, furniture, decorative home items, edibles and art.

“Bergdorf Goodman has always been my favorite closet, and now you can officially find my closet here.” –Linda Fargo

The windows are so much fun, and reflect what a fun shopping experience this will be. I love going into Bergdorf just to look around and see the gorgeous selections.

A Gorgeous Madison Avenue Window

I must apologize for not writing down the name of this glorious shop! I was walking on Madison Avenue and saw this window and went c r a z y ! It is so gorgeous, and I had to show you! It is right across the street from the Neuhaus Chocolate shop, so it gives you an idea of where. I just loved everything about it, oh so New York glam. Enjoy !!

As I headed over to Fifth Avenue, this was in my view. I just never get tired of New York. I am so honored for this to be my obsession!

Christian Loubtain at Saks Fifth Avenue

I came across some wonderful Christian Loubtain windows at Saks Fifth Avenue right before the holidays and just had to share with you! They are just so fun and I must confess, I did purchase one of his lipsticks. I have the nail polish, and wasn't impressed as it chipped way to fast for something that costs $50.00. But I wanted to try the lipstick, which I find wonderful, and I love the fact that you can wear it as a necklace when the lipstick is all gone. I picked up the Belly Bloom shade from Silky Satin Lip Colour which I do like very much. Hope you enjoy these windows !!

I loved this sneaker, if money was no object!

This was a skirt, right next to the Christian Loubtain cosmetic counter, and I thought it was so lovely. I didn't get the name of the maker, so sorry, but did have to share the beauty with you!
