I really loved this one when I found it on the Positive Outlooks Blog. It just makes so much sense. Everything is really up to us as to how we react to things. I find if I am in a good mood, nothing or no one can upset me. We have to look at the big picture, and realize to not let the small stuff get to us.

I thought this was a really great quote which I found on Pinterest. We all know those people who complain about everything, don't we? It seems nothing goes right for them. But we have to be careful not to let these people bring us down. Sometimes it's hard to let go of people, especially if they have been in your life a long time, they may even be family. I have found for myself, as hard as it may be, it is so much nicer to be with positive people. They lift up your day, and your spirits, and make you smile. We all need happiness in our lives. I thought this was just a lovely quote. Who doesn't love sparkle? A little bit can just make your day so much sweeter! I love stopping in the Swarovski store when I am in the city, as it just makes me happy. Hope you have lots of sparkle today!!

Tuesday's Quote of the Day for March 24, 2015

As many of you know, my Mom passed away in January. It has been a hard beginning to the year 2015. We were very close, and she taught me all I know about cuisine, class and style. I thought this quote was just lovely, and I truly believe she is still with me everyday. I can't even describe the loss of a Mother, except I hope many of you do not have to experience it for a long time. The wonderful memories are always fresh in my mind, along with the idea of this beautiful quote.

I am such a fan of Eleanor Roosevelt and her fabulous quotes! They are all so amazing, and really make you think. I love when a quote makes you really sit and think how it relates to your life. Tuesday's Quote of the Day for February 24, 2015

This is a really profound quote for me. I really hate joining the "crowd". I grew up an only child, so I have been always comfortable with being alone. I love traveling to New York City alone. I found out I had great strength when my Mom passed handling the arrangements alone. It may be hard to do at first, but mastering standing alone can be the greatest gift you can give yourself. It allows such freedom, and the ability to do things your way, not the crowd's way.

Tuesday's Quote of the Day January 6, 2015

How true this quote is? My life has changed quite a bit this year, with my Mom's health in decline. I do have peace with myself doing all I can for her, those are moments I will never forget. I hope if your 2014 was a bit tuff as mine was, that 2015 will be a better year for you. Change is something we cannot stop, but we can look for the positive in all that we experience. Sometimes that is harder to do, but we must make a valid attempt to find it. One more day to go in 2014, hope it is a GREAT one for you!!
