Yes, today is the birthday. I received this great card from Henri Bendel for a lovely discount on any purchases. It has been a great year and I am looking forward to the next one being even better.
Just a few of my favorite items I thought would be nice on this day. I have had many cool birthdays and being taken to New York City by my Aunt were some of the best times. Having a cupcake tea at the Ritz Carlton near Central Park with Jennifer Aniston behind me was quite the day! But, in the end, it is the family and wonderful friends, that make birthdays special. I would not want to go back in time as many people say. You have to live in the current, and embrace opportunity. I look forward to this new year with much excitement.
And of course, a cannoli cake from the awesome Food Emporium, would be a great way to end the day!!
