Martine's Chocolates in Bloomingdales

We are back at my favorite store, Bloomingdales, for a trip to see some chocolate
on the 6th floor, what a great color kitchen aid we found on our way! just love, love the sapphire blue color
the cook for the cure for breast cancer one is also great, these are a must-have if you bake at all......
okay now for Martine's chocolates which many may not realize are located in Bloomies.....
this photo, from their website, shows the lovely detail in these chocolates...I love the cameo pieces ....how great to bring home to family and friends!!
they make some really neat items such as Yankee hats, a chocolate metro card and the famous yellow cab
little chocolate works of art ......
if you are in Bloomingdales doing some serious shopping, this is a must-check out place
you will be taking something with you for sure because everything is just amazing!!

Macy's Colonial Williamsburg and Kitchen Aid Gardens!!

If you ever get the chance to see Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia...take the chance. It is a wonderful place that really takes you back in time. Macy's had a few gardens featuring the sponsors of the flower show. Here are the first two:

the Kitchen Aid garden was very cute, made the mixers look like flowers
If you own a Kitchen Aid, you know these things are the best machines out there for baking

the Colonial Williamsburg Garden in the cellar

the garden features herbs.....

ornamental plants.....

gardening tools familiar in the 18th century

it was a really lovely display......wonder what is next?

Cannoli Dreams for You.....until next post
