Throwback Thursday "Jeff Koons Play Doh"

For our Throwback Thursday, taking back to 2014 and my viewing of the Jeff Koons exhibit 

at the Whitney Museum. This was the Play Doh sculpture which I just LOVED as am a 

huge lover of color. This actually took 20 years to complete! You can tell the massive

size by how big it is compared to folks walking around. 

I came across this fabulous plate last weekend while in the city showing this 

exact sculpture! It was offered for sale at MOMA for $475.00.  If money 

was no object, I would have picked one up!

Throwback Thursday " Jeff Koons Elephant"

I just loved this adorable elephant on display last year at the Jeff Koons exhibit at the old Whitney Museum. This just makes you smile, doesn't it ? It is actually made of stainless steel which is pretty amazing!

This location of the old Whitney is now to be the MET Breuer, opening weekend is March 18-20, 2016. I cannot wait to see the new space for the MET, I am sure it's going to be pretty fabulous!

Another really cool piece of artwork from the Jeff Koons exhibit at The Whitney Museum of American Art. If you missed my full post on this, you can check it out HERE . It is a must see. Advance tickets is a very good idea to skip the lines. Has anyone visited this exhibit? Did you like it ?
