Macy's Peanuts Gang Holiday Windows 2015

I will admit, Macy's holiday windows are something I have not seen in quite a few years. I was in the city on a Wednesday, great time during the holidays to go, and had to see their windows this year! I grew up with the Peanuts gang, they are just such a fun group! My Mom worked in a children's boutique shop and they sold so much of these characters. I have Snoopy, his sister Belle (not many know he had a sister!) and brother, Spike! I really enjoyed viewing these, it took me back to my childhood, which was a very happy time. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did !! 

They had a piano at the front of the window for Schroeder and this guy was having a blast trying to play it! He said afterwards it wasn't like a real piano! These windows have made everyone feel young at heart!  

These guys were right next to me looking at the windows! I nearly fell over when I saw them! Costumes are crazy good, my Mom was a HUGE Star Wars fan. Then below, they started dancing with the Salvation Army ladies to some snazzy music. It was loads of fun. Only in NYC!

Macy's Spring 2014 Flower Show The Secret Garden

I was in the city this past weekend for the Coffee and Tea Festival and decided to take a pop in Macy's. Low and behold, they were beginning their 2014 flower show, in it's 40th year, the following day. So the windows were being worked on, and the inside had quite a bit of flowers already in place. So here is a sneak peek of some of the lovely displays in the Herald Square location.  

This store has gone through a huge renovation, as last year the show was held in trailers as they worked inside on the upgrades! It was great to see everything back in place, and the store looks very classy. I was never a big shopper here before, but that may now change.  

Everywhere you turn in the store, you see some type of display. The smell is also pretty amazing as well, as long as you don't have major allergies!!  

This was one of the windows being worked on. I actually took these window shots with my phone, and was pretty happy with the results. Just gorgeous! We are ready for Spring 2014. 

Macy's Spring 2014 Flower Show The Secret Garden runs from March 23rd to April 6th. The stores in Philadelphia, Chicago, Minneapolis, and San Francisco also take part in these shows. The Washington, DC store has the Cherry Blossom Show from March 30th to April 13th. The stores have special events going on during the show, so a good idea to check out their website HERE to see the list of activities. These shows are free to the public, and a nice addition while you are shopping around the Macy's stores!
