Visit Saks Fifth Avenue, 8th Floor, if You Love Shoes and Chocolate

Did you ever hear of 10022-Shoe zip code? Well Saks Fifth Avenue has a shoe floor with it's own zip code! This is truly a grand floor, as it holds 2 of my favorites, shoes and chocolate. You can actually take an elevator specifically designed to take you to the 8th floor. There is a VIP room for private shopping as well. The shoes are treated like works of art.

The shoes are the stars here....but I did say chocolate didn't I ? Let's move on ...... 

Ahh yes, Charbonnel et Walker, from England, is joining us on the 8th floor  

loads of color here, which I adore, and just a great place to rest those feet from shopping with a bit of something special  

I want one of these for my kitchen  

You can go healthy here, and get some fruit with dark chocolate  

I love the chocolates that have crowns on them. So regal and great to take home as gifts to family and friends. 

a nice latte is very relaxing indeed  

And yes, chocolate shoes, how can you top that? 

If you visit Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City, don't forget the 8th floor. It is a world all in itself.

Update: as of 12/08/13 The chocolate shop is no longer on this floor as they made more room for shoes! Very sad to see it go as it was a wonderful place for a little something in between shopping.

Photo Gallery Thursday "Chocolate Fountain "

How elegant is this? A chocolate fountain with gorgeous chandelier type glass above it. Only in Saks Fifth Avenue and Only in the Charbonnel et Walker Cafe. Plus there are also gorgeous shoes on this floor. Did I say I go to this floor often when in Saks? It is a girl's dream come true!!

Charbonnel et Walker at Saks Fifth Avenue NYC

For anyone who thought of putting a fancy chocolate shop and shoes on the same floor...I highly salute them!! This is what Saks Fifth Avenue in NYC has accomplished and it is quite a treat!!
The Charbonnel et Walker chocolate shop which was established in 1875 and is the chocolatier to the Queen of England is a great find!! Located on the Shoe Floor of Saks, 8th floor, since the fall of 2005 ....it is a great spot for a coffee and little something. The shop itself is just adorable, with sweets moving on a conveyor belt (what a willy wonka idea!!) ...well let's take a look shall we........

the decor is really adorable ...............

I just love all the colors ....very happy .........

see the desserts moving along....such a cute idea ........

these are just gorgeous !! had to get a close up of them !!!

The biggest seller is the “pink champagne” truffle, flavored with marc de champagne, the chocolate center is enrobed in white chocolate, flavored with a hint of strawberry, and lightly dusted with sugar. 

almost took one of these adorable cups home....still may one of these days...soo cute for cocoa or your morning tea

they didn't mind me taking photos at all which I was very happy about.........
