I love to window shop. Especially in New York City. Window Art is what I call it as some of the displays are so fabulous. Jewelry windows are always fun too. Alex's Jewelry on the Upper East Side has some amazing jewels.

Loving the colors in this window. I have noticed since attending many jewelry auctions, the people that can afford these beauties often buy one design in different colors if they are fond of it. I think that makes good sense as with bracelets, great to layer different colors together.
I must say since the wedding of the Princess of Wales, sapphires are pretty popular. They are my favorite gem and this selection here is quite lovely.
