Everyone loves a bakery, right? Italain bakeries are pretty amazing, however, I do feel the French come in a close second, or can share the top spot with the Italian ones! There are some bakeries in NYC that opened in the 1800's which shows you how good the quality must be to be open that long. Some have closed, which is sad, so we need to visit the fabulous ones that are still in business. Along with my favorite, cannoli, they make some wonderful desserts. I would suggest a visit to all below, if possible, and here they are, in no particular order:
LaGuli
Ferrara Bakery
Pasticceria Rocco
Venieros Pastry
Famous Rimini Bakery
Circos Pastry Shop
Caffe Roma Pastry
Eataly NYC
Court Pastry Shop Brooklyn
La Bella Ferrara Bakery
