Sheila Strong of Fool's Gold is another great person I met at the Manhattan Vintage Show. She specializes in bakelite, which I am just crazy about! She can also be found at the Our Lady of Pompeii Crafts Market. It is in the heart of Greenwich Village, on Bleecker Street between Leroy and Carmine Streets most Saturdays and Sundays. This market has many handmade as well as vintage items available. Here are a few of her collections at the vintage show in April :
her jewelry selection is amazing with pieces priced high and low .....
how could you not find something in here???
sorry this came blurry but the red and white bangle on the top row went home with me.....I wear it often and get lots of compliments especially when in the city!!
she also had some great vintage hats as well on display !!
