here is the truck parked on the side of the F.M. Kirby Center, got me very excited
the poster for the show like an old vintage movie theater
the stage was like Carlo's Bakery...very cute ..they celebrated their 100th birthday this year
he came out of the lobby doors to the tune of Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar on Me ..very appropriate...then when on stage started shooting tee-shirts at the crowd
you know Italians talk with their hands a lot...his were non-stop
cupcakes...even here...decorating with some lucky women on stage to try to do the same as Buddy
I would have been very nervous up there but Buddy was really nice and gave them all tee shirts
the crowd was very mixed, men - women - children - all ages - which was nice. the kids had their turn next and did pretty well. There were so many Buddy did 2 sets of kids decorating cuppies. They all got tee shirts and took their cupcakes as well.
Buddy seemed like a really good guy and to enjoy working at the bakery with his family. He talked about working on opening a 40,000 square foot facility to be able to ship his wonderful baked goods worldwide. Sounds like a great plan to me. Can't wait for that to be up and running. Cannolis and Lobster Tails are calling me!! Hoboken is very close to NYC and is the hometown of Frank Sinatra...need I say more.
Next post will be Buddy decorating a cake and a little surprise........
Today's Words of Wisdom: Life is What your Thoughts Make it
