New York Cupcake State of Mind

Hello all ! Sorry for the delay in posts but my computer was acting up a bit and I have just been a bit busy. I am in a great NYC state of mind as heading there for the day tomorrow. Hope to have some new exciting information to bring to you. Weather is to be in the 40's and dry which for January is fabulous! This trip is solo as will be taking lots of photos and to fit in as much as possible.

Cupcakes are very big as you well know thanx to Sex and the City and the wonderful Magnolia Bakery. I know some may say they do not care for their cupcakes but I think they are very good. Different bakeries/trucks make different types of little cakes. Here are a few I have come across in my NYC travels:

These were from a bakeshop on Bleecker Street in the Village

This is from Cupcake Stop truck - red velvet - of course which I have become very partial to as of late

These were in Zaro's in Grand Central Boston Creme Cupcakes - they looked great but heard the taste could have been better

Juniors - famous for cheesecake also has a full bakery and yes Cupcakes !! These looked really good!!!

Last but not least, Magnolia Cupcake Photo Session....every cupcake that comes home with me gets a photo session first ...then eaten ! Drives my mom crazy but it's soo much fun!!
