Our last view on our Brooklyn Neighborhood Tour with A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours was the amazing Victorian Flatbush area. This was really such a wonderful experience, one of Brooklyn's six original villages. How gorgeous is this house above?
A major line-up of Queen Anne and English Tudor style homes just a subway ride away from Manhattan
Fixer-uppers here can cost you $600,00 to $900,00; a restored home can cost about a million or more
It really gives you that Charles Dickens kind of feeling, don't you think?
loved this street sign, so fabulous
I think this was one of my most favorites
How great would it be to live in this neighborhood?
Another great street sign
This one needs a bit of tlc I think but very lovely
I really enjoyed this brick design too
Wrap around porch here is quite amazing
This one looks pretty perfect, love all the details
A bit more modern but I do like, those big white pillars are really wonderful
Even with the garbage cans in the front, this looks pretty amazing
I really cannot say enough about Tony's tours to Brooklyn. You are able to see so many great areas of the borough, and it is such a care-free day. I hope to take his holiday one this year as that includes a cannoli, and you know how I do love a good cannoli !!

what lovely old well kept homes
ReplyDeleteI love Victorian homes. Many all over the country have gone down throughout the years. I know it's financial. We have many along St. Charles Avenue here in New Orleans.
