A Leisurely Stroll through Brooklyn Heights

Brooklyn? Yes, Brooklyn, also the name of one of David Beckham's sons. I myself am not too familiar with the borough, which is why I love Tony Muia's Brooklyn Neighborhood Tour. Actually, any of Tony's tours are great because you don't have to think for 4 hours. You let him guide you in his borough, and enjoy the scenery. Let's see what a leisurely stroll through Brooklyn looks like:

The St George Hotel was once New York City's largest hotel

A pretty fabulous view from the Brooklyn Heights promenade, at 1,826 feet, stretches along the East River waterfront and is the main attraction in the area.

This is the house where Truman Capote lived when he wrote In Cold Blood and Breakfast at Tiffany's

So, what do you think of Brooklyn Heights? It is a pretty amazing area for sure. The location is only a 10 minute ride to Manhattan on the subway.  Apartment rentals start at about $2,000 for a one-bedroom. A one-bedroom apartment sale starts at approximately $500,000. If you can afford it, it is a lovely place to settle down, be close to New York City, but have that small town feel.

  6. Truly a great neighborhood. It's great that its only 10 minutes away from the city, but it comes with a pricey cost. The apartment buildings are so pretty to look at. Great NY treasure.
