This post just had to be written. From when I was little, Pepperidge Farm has always been something my family has loved. I was shocked to see on their website they are in business since 1937 and started by one lady named Margaret Rudkin. You can read some of the history HERE. Twitter has become a big part of NYC, Style and a little Cannoli. We now have over 700 followers and steady growth is daily. I am so thrilled with all the new people being introduced to the blog and meeting wonderful new friends as well. One day I was thinking, milano, as in cookie, and did a tweet about how wonderful they are. Low and behold, Pepperidge Farm contacted me about how thrilled they were with my tweet and would like to send me a Thank You gift. I figured, oh a few boxes maybe would be awesome. Here is what I received:
24 boxes plus a hand written note! What class from a company that is old-school and will be around I am sure for many years to come!!

What a great story. I recall Pepperidge Farms with great fondness as a child. I loved going to the mall on a Saturday with my mom and getting a "free sample" of cheese in their store. Still love their products today! -- Amy W.

Such a lovely thing for Peppridge Farm to do ... I adored their cookies before and now I love them even more for that sweet gesture! I'll have to try the new flavors, as I haven't tried them yet! I've bought so many Peppridge Farm Milanos and Brussels (both my favorites!) through the years! Anytime I wanted a special cookie at the grocery store, those would be the two I would pick!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rosemary, for your sweet comment .. I too am excited about the future illustration for the NY, Style & a little Cannoli button! ;)
