Dylan's Candy Bar at Christmas

Dylan's Candy Bar is one of my favorite places in the city. It brings the child back in all of us at any age! It is owed by Dylan Lauren, daughter of Ralph Lauren, and has really grown since it's opening in 2001. Dylan was really amazed by the movie, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (one of my faves as well) when she was 5 years old......she dreamed of opening a chocolate shop of her very own.
I had never visited during the holidays so was excited
a girl marshmallow snow woman...what else would you find?

a marshmallow snowman as well - so cute -
penguins fishing for gummy fish !!
look at the candy corn for the fire!
cute story !!
candy tree greeted you when you walked in ....I love candy trees

holiday decor inside was sweet (no pun intended)
lots of gift items to take back home
it was quiet in the store for a Wednesday ( I was happy about that) but I think the guy running the chocolate fountain was getting bored!! He was doing some dance moves !!
just loved the decorations !! they also have a cafe'  on the 3rd floor for ice cream, coffee and hot chocolate

loved this ornament !!
be sure to stop by Dylan's any time you are in the city and let it bring back the child in you !!
