Maison Kayser

Maison Kayser. Location near Bryant Park. If you are walking around the city and you see this pastry shop, run inside! You will be amazed at what you find. Oh, come with me as I enjoyed a visit on a recent trip to the city. I hope you are not looking at this on an empty stomach!
Works of pastry art.
I have to say that you feel bad eating such gorgeous pastry items!
I wonder if anyone has ever ordered one of everything? Wouldn't that be fun ??

I picked up the Petit Cake Citron for my Mom as she is a lover of lemon and orange. She was in heaven and had small pieces each day to make it last longer!
They also make breads as well. They are pretty much works of art too!
The decor is really very classy and clean looking.

The item on the left, a Plie au Choc, was one of the items I took home. It is pretty much called heaven wrapped in chocolate! I heated it in my toaster oven, it was just amazing!!

So, what would you try if you visited Maison Kayser? This bread above here looks great too. I don't think you can go wrong with any product. They have locations in the Upper East Side and the Flatiron district.
The French really know their pastry and I have to give them a big thumbs up with delight!

You have the most incredible places to eat in NYC -- no wonder everyone walks everywhere!

  5. You will know from my post this week that I absolutely love French pastries and we visit Eric Kayser ( which I think is the same brand) in Dubai. Their bread is amazing. The petit cake citron sounds delicious.
