Two of my favorites, PRESTAT Chocolates and Henri Bendel, are coming together for Valentine's Day 2013 ! PRESTAT'S chocolate is so amazing, and I love their packaging as the boxes make great keepsakes to store your jewelry or other small items. Here is the information from PRESTAT'S press release:
New York, NY— January 18, 2013—PRESTAT, the UK’s prestige chocolate brand affectionately
known as Her Majesty The Queen’ s chocolate makers, and much loved by Roald Dahl, the
celebrated author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, opens its first ever Valentine’s Day pop up
store at Henri Bendel on February 8 in New York City. It remains open through February 14.
“Prestat and Henri Bendel are two timeless, romantic, girl-loving brands,” said Nick Crean, chairman
of PRESTAT. “Why did it take us so long to find each other? After all, our founders were inventing
the chocolate truffle in France in 1895, while Henri Bendel was welcoming their first guest into their
Fifth Avenue store.”
The pop up shop will offer PRESTAT’s traditional hot pink Artisan Truffle Heart Box and chocolate
bars wrapped in eye-caching colors. The shop will also exclusively sell PRESTAT’s Miniature Artisan
Heart Truffle Box that includes a delicious collection of three chocolates; a rice crisp chocolate; a
passion fruit fondant; and a dark truffle. The box retails for $12.00.
PRESTAT is the favorite chocolate of not only the Queen but of Prince William and Catherine
Duchess of Cambridge as well.
