Le Pain Quotidien A New York City Favorite!!!

One of my favorite places in the city is Le Pain Quotidien..... for breakfast, lunch, light dinner or snack....I just find it one of my go to places in the city. They are located in many countries around the world, and originate from Belgium. About 27 locations exist in New York City, so you can find one in many different areas.
Their name means "the daily bread" and they are famous for their communal tables. This was an amazing vegetable quiche for breakfast on one of our many trips to the city.......
I had porridge with fruit.....their fruit is always the most gorgeous colors and so yummy! I do not eat strawberries but when presented here, I did. I was proud.
The baked goods are amazing and this is a great place to get pick up a coffee and dessert snack while you are walking all over the city. You know, you will burn all those calories while walking, so it is okay to indulge yourself!!!
I just love their coffee cups....no handles....and so big......just wonderful
The almond croissant is to die for......just an amazing work of art in pastry form
The tartine is a great dinner item if you wish to go a bit light on the pocket while in the city. It is basically an open face sandwich, on their organic homemade bread, with a choice of many toppings. This one is Roast Beef  and I really enjoyed it very much.
Another photo of their amazing fruit bowl........looks like a painting, doesn't it?? You can eat very healthy here, many items are organic and everything is made fresh daily.
This poor latte never seems to make it when I order one. It is always gone to the very end!!

Be sure to check them out when in the city, should you pass one and be in need of some tasty nourishment!!

This is one of my favourite places to go in London too, for breakfast or lunch. I also love it for the big communal tables and those wonderful huge coffee cups/bowls!
Your photos are brilliant, by the way!
