Grand Central Terminal Holiday Fair 2011 Featured Shops!!

There are many great holiday shops in the city but the Grand Central Terminal Holiday Fair stands out as one of the best. It is also great because it is indoors so if it starts to become a really chilly holiday season, you can shop being in comfort. Here are a few more of the wonderful vendors you can find at the holiday fair:

Patrick Meyer Studio – The metalsmith and jewelry designer works with high-grade lead-free pewter molded and cast to create elegant designs for his flatware, serving pieces, vases, candle holders, bowls, dishes, jewelry and personal accessories.

Margo Petitti – Recycled swatch books customarily used for men’s custom clothing, which are then turned into unisex scarves with quilt-like designs are the basis of this company. Margo Petitti uses only the finest cashmere, wool, and silk imported from Italy and other parts of Europe, and then designs and makes everything in Massachusetts.

Brazilian Home Collection – Started in 1985, the company’s goal was to find unrecognized Brazilian artists and artisans and help them adapt their work to the American market. In doing so, the company has changed the lives of the artists and created employment for the cities and regions where they are hired and trained. Brazilian Home Collection features handmade ceramics from an area that has been named a “World Heritage Center” by UNESCO and handmade wooden art pieces
