The Plaza Food Hall Cupcakes

We are back at The Plaza Food Hall by Todd English........
I have been hearing about these "Curly Cakes" for quite some time and finally decided to bring some home. They are actually made by Todd's daughter Isabelle and she has a bakery in Boston.
This was the red velvet....it was really quite good ...the cake was really moist and the icing was not too sweet. There is a white ganache icing over the regular icing so it didn't run anywhere.....really yummy
this was Blueberry and I purchased it because it was so pretty....well it was so tasty I was really amazed....the cake was again very moist with a great flavor and not too sweet
how gorgeous is this? it also had a blueberry filling in the center with actual little blueberries in it, would buy this one again in a second.
I had to buy this one due to my obsession with peanut butter....cake again very moist with a fudge-like peanut  butter in the center...icing was peanut butter and not too sweet...this was so good......
If you happen to pop in The Plaza Food Hall and see these cupcakes, buy some. You will not be disappointed. I really think cupcakes are here to stay as they are so great to try a few different flavors and also for a small dessert. I have been trying many in the city and they are all different with flavors you would never imagine. The cupcake trend is here to stay. And I am quite glad for that as love to try new brands.......

What is your favorite cupcake in New York City? Do tell ..........
