La Maison du Chocolat New York City

One of my favorite places to go in NYC is La Maison du Chocolat .....it is the ultimate chocolate boutique. They have 3 locations in the city: 30 Rockefeller Plaza( near 49th St), 1018 Madison Avenue( bet 78/79 Sts) and 63 Wall Street(bet Pearl/Hanover Sts). I really thought I had given a complete post to this place but after searching I found I did not so...hope you are not hungry..........
my first shots of the famous macaroons...they had their own photo session in my house before we ate them
I love this shot with the wonderful glass dish underneath..they are so photogenic (as well as tasty)
they make a great gift and the flavors are so amazing
the Valentine's Day window was really great with these chocolate hearts
the chocolate ganache tart....amazing photo of an amazing dessert
the mini version would probably work for me but eating the whole thing may not make your tummy feel so great........
this also sounded wonderful...they have individual servings of their desserts in the shop
the Easter Egg display was so cute and colorful
they clean out their windows every night when the store closes which I found interesting

my chocolate iced frappe made with their homemade ice cream...it was wonderful on a hot summer day

They have quite a list of homemade ice cream and sorbets served in the shops. The hot chocolate is also to die for and the shop on Madison has a bit more seating room than Rockefeller Center. I have sat in both and also must say the staff is very pleasant and makes you feel very comfortable. They also usually give samples when you are in the shop as well. Please be sure to stop by this great classic chocolate shop when in the city. You will leave with a smile on your face!!

You need to put a sign above the blog: The place is prohibited for heavy ladies like Irina - content is too yummy.
Now I am going to my fridge)))
