The New Francois Chocolate Bar (Payard) at the Plaza Hotel

My recent holiday trip to the city this past Wednesday was a really cold one. It was for sure one of the coldest days I have ever been in the city but you can't help but warm up as you walk around and see the great decorations. We had arrived at the lovely Plaza Hotel and made our way downstairs to waste time before our reservation for Afternoon Tea...I was pretty excited with what I found downstairs and it wasn't Todd English........
hmmm...a new chocolate bar in the old Demel space ( I still am waiting for a new location!!)
this looks quite familiar .......
they look like...no it can't be ....
OMG ! Payard ....FC is Francois Chocolate Bar .......
just opened November 17th in the Plaza concourse level - 1,000 square foot cafe-
the new decor looked very nice and chic
we kind of felt bad we had reservations for tea at this point.......
these are little works of art, don't you think?
that are also very tasty as well ...
one of the best reasons to love NYC ...you never know what you will find unexpectedly ...it is usually something really, really good !!

Do stop by the Plaza concourse level for a bite to eat at the new FC Chocolate Bar and relax those tired feet from walking all day. It is quite a lovely space indeed!!
