Manatus Restaurant West Village

Our trip to the West Village is always a great one as it feels very relaxed. During my charity trip in October, we had the most wonderful weather, and we came across this place for lunch. This is another of those we came across without planning. In NYC, this is a great adventure..........
we were on the famous Bleecker Street which is really charming
Manatus came to our eye looking like a nice place for lunch - even has outside seating if it is a nice day
the inside was nice and roomy - reminded me of a diner feeling - found out it was a Greek diner -
for a Saturday it wasn't too crowded but I think we were on an off time from lunch - always a good idea not to go to lunch at noon if possible
my friend had the Greek Salad - this was the small size - I would hate to see the large! looked and from what I was told tasted pretty yummy
Salmon Wrap was really tasty and the fries were very fresh
across the street these wonderful windows caught my eye
this is the wonderful flower shop Ovando
all we needed now was dessert ( at lunch ? well we are in NYC so yes!!) maybe a Cassatina from Rocco's  not a far walk on Bleecker from our restaurant.... a Vanilla Sponge Soaked in a Stregol Flavor, Filled With Cannoli Cream, and Topped Off With a Fondant. Life is good.
